Shot List(s)
Medium Shots - Conventions of Content (Daniel Chandler, Genre Theory)
Eye-Level Shots - Interviews with the camera at eye-level
[As my short film is a Documentary, experimenting with different camera angles and shots is unnecessary, as the would not fit the conventions of the genre]
Script/Plot Synopsis/Storyboards
In order to keep to truth/reality, there isn't a definite 'script' in place, only questions that will be asked to provoke certain responses from my Granddad; however his response isn't scripted, and the camera will be left rolling (Pennebaker) to capture the response.
In terms of a plot synopsis, the aim of the Documentary is to show the effects of his Parkinson's with Lewy Body Dementia. This also leads into storyboards - there isn't necessarily a set structure as to how I will construct the film at this moment in time. I have ideas of sequences I would like to include, but which clips I will include to form this sequences, and the order in which the sequences will be placed is yet to be decided.
