Special Effects Editing - Fast Forward Effect

In order to achieve the fast forward effect, I made two cuts around the section of footage which I wanted to play faster. Then, using the "rate stretch tool" I dragged the clip making it smaller, so that the footage would play faster, as the rate has been stretched to a shorter duration. The video contains some footage at normal speed, and then some footage alter with the "rate stretch tool".
