Setting:

- my House (Interview with Peter, if included)
- Norwich Theatre Royal (Granddad)
- Attleborough Connaught Hall (archive footage)
Hair & Makeup:
- Naturalistic
- he wouldn't look himself if this were changed, and I want to show the reality of his illness
Costume:
- Naturalistic:
- wearing clothes he would wear on a day to day basis
- realism
- I wanted him to be as comfortable and natural as possible
- Theatre Royal:
- smarter outfit than his general day to day wear
- Archive Footage:
- Costumes for his theatrical performances
Lighting:
- Natural:
- Granddad's House (he sat opposite a window with the sun shining in)
- Theatre Royal Upstairs (he sat next to a window)
- Artificial:
- my House (the interview with Peter was filmed in the evening)
- Theatre Royal Auditorium (no natural light is in the auditorium, and it was fairly dark)
Character Expression & Movement:
- Expression:
- Depends on how he was reacting to the archive footage
- Also depends on what he was talking about when recalling the memories
- There were some funny moments and laughter, but also quite emotional ones with some tears
- Movement:
- Limited, as for the interviews he is seated
- Mostly comes from the archive footage when on stage performing
Props:
